DVD plugin - sound jerky??

I also had this problem until a applied the following workaround.
It seems the call to 'm_xineLib.execFuncResetAudio();' causes a
short audio dropout. But it appears the call is not neccessary anyway.
At least I noticed no bad sideeffects yet after skipping the call.
