Please use the following patch for kernel 2.6.{36,37} (in attachment). Christian's repository hasn't been changed for a 3 months and you cannot compile modules for a newer kernels. I maintain em8300-hg and em8300-utils-hg packages for archlinux. Yarema 2011/2/6 Ville Skyttä <ville.skytta@iki.fi> > On 02/06/2011 06:29 PM, Helmut Auer wrote: > > > Thanks for the update ! YUP, thanks for the patch... I will update my hg repository. Maybe its also a good time to tell everybody about my other repositroy loacted at github - [0]. The goal of this repository is to get the driver finally into mainline. There is lot work left, but I started to push the first patch into mainline - it got included into 2.6.38-rc2 [1]. The next patch I will send to media list will be the bt865 subdevice driver. So... its a long way until the whole driver will be in mainline, but I am working hard to get it done. thanks for the patch... You are wellcome. I'm still using dxr3 card for my vdr system on 600 Mhz Pentium III box. > The goal of this repository is to get the driver finally into > mainline.
